In 1963, Antoine Meilland was honored to baptize a large, fragrant red rose that everyone has known since as Jubie Papa Meilland. Fifty years later, his great-grandchildren offered him a more resistant and floriferous new rose with a velvety red color and a powerful fragrance combining geranium, carnation, and white peach notes.
