Carmen Wurth
Carmen Wurth is a fragrant hybrid tea rose with double pink-lilac flowers. It blooms repeatedly throughout the growing season. The flowers, either solitary or gathered in small clusters, withstand brief rain showers well, but during prolonged rains and increased humidity, they may become damaged or prone to rotting. Perhaps the main feature of this variety is its citrusy fragrance with hints of geranium and patchouli, for which the rose has received several international awards. The maximum intensity of the aroma is noticeable at noon and in the evening. The medium-sized, upright bush is adorned with disease-resistant, glossy, dark green foliage. The ADR certificate obtained in 2018 guarantees good plant health without the use of pesticides. The elegant rose received its name in July 2017 during the opening ceremony of the “Carmen-Würth-Forum” congress and cultural center in Künzelsau in honor of the 80th birthday of the female entrepreneur Carmen Wurth.
