Description:

Miranda stands as a representative of the renowned “Wedding Roses” selection by David Austin. This cut rose showcases vibrant and extravagant pure pink blooms. These moderately large, semi-double flowers are resilient to changing weather conditions, unfolding to form flat rosettes. The green-striped outer sepals gracefully bend backward as the flower unfurls, nearly disappearing behind the fully opened petals. The aromatic flowers are clustered on a dense, vertical shrub, boasting a lovely autumn bloom. This rose is frost-resistant. It’s important to note that there are three other roses with similar names. The Modeste Guérin (Angers) hybrid (France, 1836) blends the Chinese rose with white flowers. The Arthur De Sansal hybrid (France, 1869) is a Damask rose with pink flowers. The Louis-Joseph-Ghislain Parmentier hybrid (Belgium, around 1840) is a white Gallica rose.

Distinctive Beauty:

Miranda distinguishes itself with the classic form of an English rose and a remarkable hue—a delicate pink with a light green tint along the edges of the outer petals. While the flowers are petite, they are abundant and lush. This rose finds popularity in the world of floristry, and semi-opened buds are often utilized in bouquets. The subtle green fringe becomes prominent in this presentation, adding a charming touch to the arrangement.
