Rose Purezza, named after the Italian word for “purity,” was created in 1960 by Quinto Mansuino (1889-1981), a breeder from Sanremo. It is undoubtedly the finest hybrid among the existing Banksia rose hybrids. Retaining all the virtues of Banksia Rose, such as long, flexible thorny-free branches, Purezza Rose reblooms in autumn. Its foliage is dense, darker, and glossier, displaying excellent health. The flowers are double, pure white, twice the size of their ancestor. This climbing can reach a height of 6 meters in a short period. Planting this rose is ideal for covering pergolas, arches, concealing unsightly walls, old barns, or dried trees.
